I found that when shooting with a nitro card I was getting a donut pattern, though the standard Skychief load still significantly reduced pattern size. Also, dont mind the artwork!1/4" is equal to 6.350 mm. 6.5mm is equal to .2559" but there is no standard 6.5 mm thread. 6.0 mm is equal to .236 inches so it would be undersize in a 1/4-28 hole. The bullet goes down with a small amount of pressure, but not very much. I was shooting at 100 yards with the first shot 2" from the group with the other 4 shots being in a 1 1/4" group. This is the very best I have been able to shoot with this gun.Pour quickly, and swing the sprue plate after the puddle on top hardens with a gloved hand: don't strike it with anything. If the balls don't fall from the mold lightly tap the handles at the bolt where they come together and they will fall out. Don't worry about the sprue (flat spot) on the ball. Most modern patent breeches on the factory made guns are designed to be cheap to make and install. I believe the Nock antechamber breech gives better velocity but experience is limited.Location. I bought the 3/8 and with a little judicious filing on them they fit the CVA dovetails. I didn't want to enlarge the dovetails in case I went back to the stock sights. Part 2 (coming next) will be the decorating (scrimshawing) and finishing. Hope this is interesting! The first step (after selecting a horn) was to locate the end of the hollow at the point of the horn.Then make a cutter along the design of a couple of saw teeth that fit the groove. This can cut the groove deeper and is advanced to the next groove. Then a paper shim is placed under the cutter and the process is repeated till the grooves are deepened to your goal. Make the 10% or up to 25% solution, add iron shavings or small nails, let it cook uncovered until it is done consuming iron. With no powder in the gun Trigger the action while observing for sparks. Assuming the flint is being held tightly so it doesn't move when it strikes the frizzen.
