Things "just don't work the same way", so modders can't employ the same techniques. DA2 uses versions 4.1 and 4.0, while DAO uses version 4.0. Both games also use version 3.2 for some content types. The DAO toolset does not support ERF 3.0 or GFF 4.1 (see next section for alternate tools).
